Mentor - Amanda IlestedtAmanda Ilestedt has made her debut for senior team LDB FC Malmö in age of 17 and beside Elin Rubensson belongs among the League's most exciting players. Amanda was recently selected for the U20 national team's friendly match against France before the summer's U20 World Championships. - "It was really fun to be there. I was actually a bit surprised," says Amanda Ilestedt.She comes from a real sports clan. Grandpa Kenneth Ekman was a big hockey profile throughout 1960 - and '70s and played in Troy, and Rögle Tingsryd. Cousin named Oliver Ekman-Larsson and he was drafted sixth by the NHL this summer, moreover her brothers also playes hockey, Fabian and Zebastian in Malmo and Tingsryd respectively. - "I have actually played hockey for years. I stood in goal and had Kim Martin as my big idol, but I also played handball and football that time and my mom thought that I could skip hockey. It was not that girly sport my mom thought "says Amanda and giggling a bit at the memory. Amanda is a defensive player and commutes between both sides.
