Vessigebro/Ginsten

Our club Vessigebro/Ginsten is a combined team of the clubs Vessigebro BK and GoIF Ginsten. We are located in the southwest of Sweden near a city called Falkenberg.

The clubs have about 100 active players each of the age from 6 to 47, both men and women. You can start to play when you are 6 years old and play as long as you want to. Our out door season starts in March and ends in September. After that it’s too cold to play outside.

In the cold winter season we play indoor soccer instead. This arena is not as big as the real pitch outside so we usually play 5 vs. 5 players when we play indoor. Our team practises soccer twice a week and play a match against another team on the weekend. We play our matches in a blue and yellow dress, like the colours of the Swedish flag. The reason for this colours has as a matter of fact nothing to do with our national flag. The real reason is that Ginstens team colour is yellow and Vessigebros team colour is blue so our combined team plays in a blue/yellow shirt, blue shorts and yellow socks.



Our team started it’s cooperation 2 years ago and we play in the fifth division and it’s Sweden’s lowest division. Bur our players have a lot of fun anyway.
