Bonga HS

The School is located on the foot of the Makhowe (mushroom) hill  and it was opened in 1999. It had its first grade 12 in 2003. The name Bonga means to thank. The school was named to thank chief of Mdletshe tribal authority, for the building of the school, which the community of Engodini area facilitating. The school has currently 750 learners who are all coming from surrounding community. The community of the area is still subjected to adverse poverty with inadequate infrastructure and unemployment.

There was no women soccer in the school until LdB FC (Anna) came on board. More girls are showing a lot of interest as the sport has been concentrated on the boys and it becomes a healthy competition during school games. The school receives great support from the community because the present of the school in area benefits the community as a whole in improving their lifestyles.
