Mchitheki

Mchitheki is a rural school found 10 km from Nongoma. Nongoma is also called IHLALANKOSI- the Zulu Monarch palace. There are 700 students with the majority being the girls. The school has participated in the Star For Life program since 2006. It is surrounded by impoverished community, where the learners are coming from.



With all the challenges faced by the school, academic results have been impressive and are rated among the top schools in the area.
