Tyresö FF Tyresö FF logga.jpg

Tyresö FF was founded in 1972 and has more than 1200 active players in 60 different teams. 300 of the 1200 players are girls, which make Tyresö one of the biggest clubs for women’s football in Sweden. The friendly team of Mbuku is the ladies team, consisting of 19 players. The ladies team plays in division one, the league under Allsvenskan (the highest division in Sweden and one of the world’s most competitive leagues for women’s football). The composition of the team is a mixture of young girls with high ambitions and older players with routine from playing in Allsvenskan. The squad practices for 2 hours, 5 days a week and play games every weekend during season. Since women’s football is far behind the male business of football, the practices take place during the afternoons and the girls work or study during the days. The drive for victory, the joy for the game and a serious attitude unite the team and together they aim to develop together as a team as well as players. Although Tyresö FF presently positions themselves in the middle of the table, the ambitions are set high: To become one of the biggest clubs in Sweden for women’s football. The talented, ambitious squad together with the support from a large sponsor network will most likely make the goal come true in a near future.

Even though Tyresö FF aims to reach the top of Swedish football, the club put a big emphasis on the development of their young players. Every year, the club arrange for Europe’s biggest indoor football tournament as well as organizing several summer camps for young boys and girls.

Through football, Tyresö encourage young people to develop as players and more importantly as people. Tyresö is a large organization and recognize that its role in society go beyond the frontiers of the playing field. Since 2005, Tyresö runs a program called: A fair future. The lack of respect and a community where violence plays a growing part is the foundation of the program that aim to teach youths how to respect one another and to take an active role against the violence in today’s society.

LdB FC for Life fick vingar

I veckan besöker LdB FC for Life sina vänföreningar i Tyresö, Lidingö och Sundsvall.

Vi tackar Tyresö FF för deras engagemang i LdB FC for Life.
