"Carlos" was recruited as a central defender from Danish Brøndby in 2008 when Malin Levenstad has injured in the middle of the season. Quickly showed that she is not only an emergency solution, but is a major player in the long run, quick with a great conrol over ball and player who has entrenched herselves among her Swedish friends despite the fact that both apartment and boyfriend is in Copenhagen. The nickname? Yes, she got it in her early teens and is of course comming from the Brazilian wing back Roberto Carlos. Christina is studying sport at University of Copenhagen, and her positive outlook shines through when she notes: "I think it is possible to find a solution to most things and so it would be great to win the championship with LdB FC. I want to come out and play in Europe!"

Christina plays in the Danish national team, made her debut as a twenty years old against Switzerland. A memorable international match is the World Cup against Brazil in 2007 when Denmark in front of more than 43 000 spectators was holding up all the way to stop time, first in the 91st minutes Pretinha scored the only goal. Brazil then went to the finals, Denmark went out of the group.
