In total there are 1653 learners, from grade 8 to 12, and 54 educators.

It has a wide range of sport codes: Soccer (ladies’ and men’s), netball, chess, ballroom dancing, choral music, volleyball,
cultural activities, debating team, karate and table tennis.

The school is also well known for its high pass rate.

The community

The community is a close-knit community in the rural areas.
The majority of the people in the area are poor, about 65% manage to make ends need.
The infrastructure is inadequate.

The ladies’ soccer team

The team comprises of girls from different families.
They have developed a passion for soccer, but somewhat lack facilities.
They are 25 in total and have successfully entered various competitions.
The girls range from 14 to 19 years of age.
The team has some outstanding players and those who need to be worked on.
The team has soccer practice from Monday to Thursday during school days, except during exam weeks.
The girls use five balls for soccer practise.
